In this hands-on workshop, participants will make their own wooden tool from reclaimed wood and use it to knit cord. Perfect for beginners and DIY enthusiasts alike, this class guides you through each step of cutting and finishing the tool itself then choose wool to create your own cord.
All tools, materials, and safety instruction are provided. Throughout the workshop you’ll receive guided instruction as well as individual support, making this a relaxed and creative environment where no prior woodworking experience is required.
By the end of the session, each participant will have used a bandsaw, rasps/files and sandpaper as well as having learned to use their new tool to make custom cord that can be used in endless ways.
*Price is per person but if you have a group of 4 or more who are interested, shoot me an email to set up a private session that works at a time for you.
**The time allotted is an estimated time. You may finish earlier & just hang out and chill too if you do!
