SOLD OUT - Reclaimed Wood Sign Making Workshop
£40.00

February 14: 2-5pm

In this hands-on workshop, participants will design and create their own custom wooden sign using reclaimed wood.  Perfect for beginners and DIY enthusiasts alike, this class guides you through each step of the process—from selecting materials to finishing your piece—so you leave with a unique sign ready to display at home or give as a gift.

We’ll start by choosing from a curated selection of reclaimed wood, learning about its character, grain, and imperfections, and how to work with them.  Participants will then plan their sign design, choosing wording, layout, and style.  Instruction will be provided on sanding and preparing the wood, followed by techniques for transferring designs, painting or staining, and sealing for durability.

All tools, materials, and safety instruction are provided. Throughout the workshop you’ll receive guided instruction as well as individual support, making this a relaxed and creative environment where no prior woodworking experience is required.

By the end of the session, each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind reclaimed wood sign and the skills to continue creating on their own.

*Price is per person but if you have a group of 4 or more who are interested, shoot me an email to set up a private session that works at a time for you.

**The time allotted is an estimated time. You may finish earlier & just hang out and chill too if you do!

Reclaimed Cutlery Jewellery
£20.00

February 28: 2-4pm

In this creative, hands-on workshop, participants will transform reclaimed and vintage cutlery into unique, wearable jewellery. Designed for beginners and makers of all experience levels, this class explores how everyday objects can be reimagined into meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Participants will begin by selecting from a collection of reclaimed forks, spoons, and other cutlery, learning about different metals and how their shapes lend themselves to jewellery design. Guided instruction will cover design planning, shaping and bending metal, cutting and smoothing edges, and assembling components to create items such as bracelets, pendants and earrings.

All tools, materials, and safety instruction are provided, and participants will receive step-by-step guidance in a relaxed, supportive environment. No prior jewellery-making or metalworking experience is required.

By the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with their own handmade item of jewellery and the skills to continue experimenting with upcycled materials at home.

*Price is per person but if you have a group of 4 or more who are interested, shoot me an email to set up a private session that works at a time for you.
